The Music
- Distort The Scene have an open mind when it comes to music. We will listen to all kinds of music from a variety of genres.
- Something innovative and exciting will always come to the fore.
- However, certain styles of music are more suited to what we are about, and there are certain characteristics we look for when listening to music.
- Genres we like include punk, gothic, metal, indie, rock, alternative, emo, lo-fi, and more. However, just because music fits in a particular genre does not mean that it is good or that we will like it.
- Instead, we look for the following attributes when listening to music :- raw, edgy, experimental, innovative, intense, loud, soft, original, pioneering, political, compelling, passionate, impressive, moving, deep, haunting, emotive, dynamic, convincing, imaginative, unusual and unique.
